First Aid Training with RLSC

There were a number of highly publicised tragic events in the UK over the course of this summer which really highlighted the dangers which can be involved with being around large bodies of water and using them for recreation purposes. As we, as a club, are keen to promote the benefits of these leisure activities we also have a duty to ensure these happen in the safest ways possible. One of the ways we can do this is to provide First Aid training as accessibly as possible.

The club is running our next Fist Aid course on Sunday 5th February 2025, at a subsidised price of £25 for Members (£40 for non-members). The course gives you a universally recognised first aid qualification with extra emphasis on first aid on the water.

We encourage all members to be first aid qualified, especially coxes, Jybaz (our youth section) parents and aspiring instructors.
