Annual Pie and Peas Trophy Supper

We had a good turnout and a great time at the Annual Trophy Dinner (renamed Annual Pie and Peas Trophy Supper) on Saturday night.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           

We had a good turnout and a great time at the Annual Trophy Dinner (renamed Annual Pie and Peas Trophy Supper) on Saturday night.

After a short speech by our President, Craig and Paul led the celebration of our our sailor's achievements with the trophy presentation (but managed to keep it to a respectable 30 minutes!).

Plenty of dancing to the the disco which closed at 11 leaving stragglers to finish their drinks and lock up after.

The Galley staff did a really magnificent job providing the hot home made pies, cake and coffee. The charity raffle which took place with some fantastic prizes raised funds for the East Cheshire Hospice.

The smart casual dress code change was embraced (though many still enjoyed dressing up in their finery) and it was great to see the young sailors and even a budding 9 week old sailor creating a happy family atmosphere.

A huge thank you to everyone who made the evening possible and such a success. Here's to next season!
