Resource Hire Conditions and Disclaimer
Club Dinghy Hire
- Use of club dinghies is at your own risk
- Please ensure that you have sufficient skill and fitness for the boat that you are hiring, and for the conditions on the day. If in doubt, don't go out.
- Rudyard Lake Sailing Club recommends that you have passed an RYA Level 1 Course before hiring club boats.
- Rudyard Lake Sailing Club strongly recommends that if you are not yet confident in your ability to handle boat/conditions, that you only consider launching if there is a safety boat on the water that is likely to be available to help if there is the need.
- Rudyard Lake Sailing Club strongly recommends that members do not go out without any other boats on the water.
Club Paddleboard Hire

- Please ensure that you have sufficient skill and fitness for the paddleboard that you are hiring, and for the conditions on the day. If in doubt, don't go out.
- Rudyard Lake Sailing Club recommends that you have completed a SUP Competency Check before booking a club board.
- Rudyard Lake Sailing Club strongly recommends that if you are not yet confident in your ability to handle paddleboard/conditions, that you only consider launching if there is a safety boat on the water that is likely to be available to help if there is the need.
