Powerboat Level 2 (PB2) Course - Course Full
This is a RYA recognised course, providing the skills and background knowledge needed by the competent powerboat driver and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. It aims to teach boat handling and seamanship in powerboats. It focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed, and collision regulations.
This PB2 course is required for all RLSC coxes who cover both sailing training and racing.
The cost of £125 covers the clubs costs and is very competive with any commerical centre offering equivalent courses.
