Endurance Series, Champagne Race

Are you ready to take your sailing skills to the next level while having a blast? Our club racing on Sundays is one of the best ways to improve your sailing and enjoy loads of fun at the same time. Whether your goal is simply to start the race, reach the first mark, or compete for the win, Sunday racing is for everyone. Our racers are fantastically supportive of those looking to get started and improve their sailing.

These are mass start races - everyone starting at the same time with finish times adjusted for Portsmouth number - your finish position is adjusted by the handicap system in order to level-up the slower boats with the faster boats, ensuring a fair and exciting competition for all. Race start times are 11:30, 13:30, and 15:15. And the best part? These are open events, so non-members are welcome to participate with a fee set by the sailing committee.

The first race in this series is the Champagne Race, and we aim to get as many boats on the water as possible. So, dust off your sails, bring your enthusiasm, and join us for an exhilarating start to the season. Let's make this year's race series the best one yet!
