Founders Day - Invitation

You are warmly invited to attend the Founders Day Reunion at Rudyard Lake Sailing Club on Sunday 21st September. On this day we invite members past and present to reunite at the club.

We are expecting most people to arrive from 1pm onwards. Lunch will be available to purchase from the on-site cafe. The main celebrations will be between 2-4pm.

Unfortunately, it looks like there will be no club racing on the day due to the lake's very low water level. However, we hope you will still be happy to come along to the club and share memories with friends and other club members. It is a great opportunity to learn more about the history of your club.

We will also find a few moments to remember absent friends. We sadly lost Stan Beck on 10th January 2025, Nigel Cooke on 15th January 2025 and Anita Birchenhall on 31st July 2025. Members who did so much to help put the Great in this Club.

Next year will be the Club's 70th Anniversary, so please come and let us know how you would like to celebrate this momentous occasion.
