A friendly family club catering for all ages and abilities. Racing takes place on Sundays from early March and continues until mid December. We also race on Wednesday evenings from April until September. Training events and other activities are organised on Saturdays throughout the year.

The club encourages racing. This takes several different formats including whole club handicaps, pursuit racing, fleet racing and a ladder series. There are three fleets this year. The Solos sail as a single class fleet with a fast and slow handicap fleets. Boats sailing in the handicap fleets include: Laser 2000, Enterprise, Laser, Albacore, Phantom, Solution, National Twelve, Mirror, Pico, GP14, RS 200 and 400.

We also own Challengers and Access dinghies which are particularly suitable for people with a wide range of disabilities

Rescue boat cover is provided for club organised sailing but members can sail at any time at their own risk.

The impressive new club house has disabled access to most areas, changing rooms with great showers, galley, licensed bar, and a friendly environment for all the family.

Social events take place at regular intervals throughout the year.

The club is an RYA recognised training centre and we provide RYA training courses to Dinghy Level 1 & 2 and Powerboat Level 2 & 3.
