Got a budding Ben Ainslie in the family? Did the "three blondes in a boat" inspire your youngster? Or perhaps you want to try sailing in one of the most beautiful lakes in the UK?

Situated between Leek, Congleton and Macclesfield in the glorious Staffordshire countryside. RLSC offers excellent sailing with first class facilities in a friendly environment. Whether you are an experienced sailor or just want to find out if sailing is for you, come on down and see for yourself!

The 2009 racing season kicks off in March with the Endurance Series  - click on the calendar button to see the agenda. The Endurance Series is one of our full programme of Open Meetings, click on the button above to see the details.

The thriving kids section known as Jybaz has an action packed year planned, including the annual trip to Abersoch dinghy week in July. Training sessions, most of which lead to RYA certificiates, also kick off in April, places are usually in demand so register your interest as soon as possible - non-members welcome.

Website changes

Class pages, racing results and weather forecasts are now available under the button called "sailing"

In the members section, the sailing instructions, notice of race, explanation of race series, schedule of trophies etc. have all been updated. Minutes of sailing and management committee meetings are added when available. You can also make sure you are up to scratch on the starting sequences for the race formats to be used in 2009 (see under sailing instructions in the members section)
