2	Excellent facilities …. Wonderful clubhouse completed in 2002, with a large communal area offering panoramic views of the lake (and the action), a galley providing meals and refreshments, the ever popular bar and spacious changing rooms. As well as this there is plenty of boat parking space and easy launching. 3	Great teaching and training. We are an accredited RYA training centre and run RYA courses for novices and improvers, as well as some coaching sessions for those interested in racing. If you are thinking about trying sailing, then one of our RYA level 1 courses is an excellent introduction and very good value for money. For the kids we have a dedicated section called Jybaz, which is introducing many youngsters to the sport in a fun but safe environment. You don’t need a boat, we’ve got plenty!
4	Good racing, with four races every Sunday during the season (see our calendar), Wednesday evening races during the summer, many special events, open meetings, and organised sailing from March to December.
5	Friendly atmosphere – Rudyard is a family club with many special events and a dedicated children’s section called the Jybaz. We have socials throughout the year. And don’t forget the well stocked and ever-busy bar, which is open every Sunday and Wednesday after racing, and for all of the other special events
